We’re expanding and currently looking for a Configuration Manager (m/f/d) to join and strengthen our customer team in Bristol.

As part of this role, you will manage and coordinate engineering changes across a highly technical and collaborative environment within the aerospace sector. You will ensure that all change requests are tracked, validated, and implemented in compliance with configuration management processes. Acting as the central point of contact for all stakeholders, you will play a key role in facilitating clear communication and efficient change execution across program departments.

You will collaborate closely with design offices, production sites, final assembly lines, contracts, certification, and customer support teams, ensuring alignment and traceability throughout the entire change lifecycle.

Your main tasks will be:

  • Preparing technical repercussion sheets and change requests for validation and decision
  • Coordinating and monitoring progress on engineering changes
  • Preparing MOD Proposal Dossiers and supporting MOD closure
  • Acting as the main interface between internal and external stakeholders involved in the change process
  • Organizing, moderating, and documenting configuration and review meetings

Requirements

Desired Profile:

  • Engineering degree or equivalent technical background
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in configuration and change management within the aerospace industry
  • Solid knowledge of configuration and change management processes
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and project coordination skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Confident interfacing with cross-functional teams including design, production, certification, and customer support
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as NewPDM-Windchill, Google Workspace, GitHub, JIRA, and Confluence
