React Native Engineer - London - Theodo UK

From day one, you will have the opportunity to engage directly with clients, including CEOs and co-founders, to understand their needs and deliver bespoke mobile and web solutions.

You’ll dive straight into hands-on learning, guided by experienced developers who will mentor you and set you up to manage your own projects.

As you grow, you’ll take on more responsibility, mentor junior developers, and become an essential technical advisor within your team.

You will work as a Mobile Engineer building innovative React Native applications, while also contributing to native iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) codebases when needed. You’ll collaborate closely with agile and technical coaches to deliver scalable, cross-platform solutions, styled with Tailwind, and developed with modern TypeScript/JavaScript tooling.

This is a client-facing, hands-on role where you’ll see the direct impact of your work on real products used by real users.

Skills 

* React Native for cross-platform mobile app development

* Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android) for native functionality when required

* TypeScript / JavaScript for mobile and web logic

* Tailwind for styling and UI consistency

* Strong communication skills and experience working with stakeholders

* Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
