Who Are We?

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager & IT Analyst to support large‑scale technology initiatives. The contractor will lead end‑to‑end project activities, manage complex stakeholder landscapes, and contribute directly to the analysis, design, testing, and delivery of strategic IT solutions.

This role requires strong expertise in RFI/RFP processes, project governance, and IT functional analysis, combined with excellent communication and tri‑lingual capabilities.

Job Description

Responsibilities

1. Project & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage the full RFI/RFP process: understanding needs, drafting and evaluating documentation, and coordinating follow‑ups.
  • Organize and lead meetings with internal and external stakeholders: preparing agendas, clarifying topics, resolving questions, and producing structured reports.
  • Oversee project planning, milestones, dependencies, and resource allocation.
  • Present project updates during steering committees, status meetings, and other governance forums.
  • Identify project risks and define appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure clear communication and effective collaboration across diverse teams.

2. Business & Functional Analysis

  • Review, produce, and maintain documentation including business processes, requirements, use cases, defects, functional diagrams, and architectural principles.
  • Conduct gap analyses and impact assessments for proposed solutions.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications and support developers throughout the implementation phase.
  • Perform incident follow‑up, contribute to problem‑solving, and propose pragmatic solutions.

3. Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Support

  • Contribute to all stages of the SDLC: requirements gathering, design, development coordination, testing, deployment, and post‑implementation support.
  • Assist in test planning and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT): support end‑users, validate results, and handle defect tracking.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date project documentation and change logs throughout the lifecycle.

4. Technical Collaboration

  • Work closely with developers, testers, architects, and project managers to validate specifications and ensure deliverables meet quality expectations.
  • Use SQL databases (writing SQL queries, navigating SQL Server Management Studio) to support analysis and testing.
  • Demonstrate affinity with programming languages (preferably .NET) to understand technical constraints and solution design.

Profile Needed

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent).
  • 15+ years of experience as a Project Manager & IT Analyst.
  • Proven experience managing IT projects valued at over €2M.
  • Strong experience drafting, reviewing, and evaluating RFI/RFP documentation.
  • Prince2 Foundation and Scrum Master certifications.
  • Trilingual (English C1, French B2, Dutch B2).
  • On‑site presence required 2 days per week.

Soft Skills:

  • Highly detail‑oriented, thorough, and analytical.
  • Proactive and assertive: engages suppliers and stakeholders directly, seeks clarifications, and addresses issues promptly.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: open, people‑oriented, collaborative, and able to listen deeply.
  • Confident presenter with the ability to report clearly in front of audiences (e.g., steering committees).

Project Management:

  • Strong understanding of business processes, use cases, defects, and functional/architectural principles.
  • Proven ability to create and manage project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
  • Experience monitoring progress, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience working with foreign suppliers.

IT Analysis:

  • Ability to gather, validate, and document business requirements.
  • Skilled in transforming requirements into clear functional specifications.
  • Experience supporting UAT, deployment, and end‑user interactions.
  • Knowledge of SQL databases and basic technical concepts (.NET development, system architecture).

Work Environment:

  • Hybrid working model with mandatory on‑site presence twice per week.
  • Collaboration with international suppliers and cross‑functional internal teams.
  • Large, complex IT programs with high business impact.
