As a Develepment Center, at Bontaz Portugal, we are pioneers in engineering and technology, continuously pushing the boundaries of what's possible in the automotive sectors.

The main responsibilities will be:

• Designing, developing and validating the product according to the client's expectations;
• Studying customer input data and specifications;
• Organizing and leading the different phases of product design in collaboration with the Product Designers (calculations, creation of 3D geometry and drawings of components and assemblies);
• Defining and updating the functional analysis;
• Constructing the Design Validation Plan and designing the tools and mechanical means required for prototyping;
• Organizing and monitoring prototype production in the industrialization phase.

The Product Designer (M/F/D) is in charge of the design of components and/or sub-assemblies within a development team. Product Designer (M/F/D) participates in the definition of the process, the production of prototypes, their qualification according to the indications of the Development Engineer in compliance with the technical criteria, quality, costs and deadlines set.

 We are looking for candidates with experience in product design. Experience in the automotive sector is an asset. Proficiency in English (verbally and in writing) is recommended as basic knowledge in French.
