Job Description
Main responsibilities:
- Handle end-to-end tax compliance including VAT/FCT/PIT/CIT filings, e-invoicing, tax payments, audits, and VAT refunds.
- Conduct tax research, support tax planning initiatives, and liaise with tax authorities and internal stakeholders.
- Manage fixed assets lifecycle: additions, depreciation, disposals, annual inventory, and VAS/IFRS reconciliation.
- Perform monthly closing tasks such as provisioning, accrual runs, detailed account listings, and reporting submissions.
- Oversee banking operations with HSBC, including payments, credit card management, and daily FX rate updates.
- Review and update accounting processes, and provide training on new processes to local teams.
- Prepare statutory and internal reports, manage legal documentation, support auditors, and handle various ad-hoc tasks.
Profile Needed
Key requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Auditing with 4+ years of experience, specializing in fixed assets and tax compliance.
- Strong fixed asset management skills: depreciation, disposals, maintaining the asset register, and performing reconciliations.
- Solid tax expertise (CIT, VAT, FCT, PIT) with hands-on experience in preparing tax reports and managing tax inspections.
- High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, able to work independently, under pressure, and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Proficient in MS Office, quick to learn and research, with good written and verbal English communication skills.
