About the Role

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for transforming raw data from our automated test benches and manufacturing systems into high-quality, reliable datasets that power analytics, decision-making, and product improvements. You will architect and maintain scalable data pipelines, ensure data integrity, and collaborate closely with Automation, Manufacturing, and Product teams to turn complex test data streams into actionable insights..

Responsibilities

• Data Pipeline Development – Design, build, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines to collect, clean, and structure data from test benches and production systems.

• Data Modeling – Develop scalable data models, schemas, and storage structures that support analytics, dashboards, and machine learning workloads.

• Database Engineering – Manage and optimize databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) for performance, reliability, and accessibility.

• Cross-Team Collaboration – Work closely with Automation Software Engineers, Manufacturing, and R&D to understand their data needs and deliver high-value data solutions.

• Infrastructure & Tooling – Contribute to the design and maintenance of cloud or on-premise data infrastructure, including storage, orchestration, and scheduling tools.

Candidate Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering or a similar role.

• Demonstrated experience scaling a production-grade data solution, such as data pipelines, storage layers, orchestration systems, or distributed processing.

• Strong Python programming skills, with experience using data engineering tools (Pandas, PySpark, Airflow, dbt, etc.).

• Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for data storage, compute, and orchestration.

• Experience setting up database management systems (PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, MongoDB)

• Familiarity with version control (Git) and software development best practices.

• Familiarity with visualization tools (Grafana, Dash/Plotly, Power BI).

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
