About the Role

This role is created to take full ownership of IT operations, ensure operational continuity, and raise the level of security and reliability of our information systems.

The Network & Systems Administrator will play a key role in designing, operating, and securing Harmattan AI’s IT foundations.

Responsibilities

IT Operations & End-User Support

• Provide day-to-day IT support to all employees

• Manage user accounts, access rights, permissions, and identities

• Handle IT onboarding and offboarding (equipment, accounts, configurations)

• Support employees with hardware, software, and tooling issues

Infrastructure, Continuity & Security

• Administer and maintain on-prem and cloud infrastructure, mainly Google Cloud Platform

• Ensure availability, reliability, and security of systems

• Perform updates, patching, monitoring, and security checks

• Contribute to cybersecurity measures in collaboration with the Cyber team

IT Change & Projects

• Deploy IT changes and improvements

• Design, document, and implement new IT services or infrastructure

• Write clear technical documentation and operational procedures

Coordination

• Act as a point of contact with external IT service providers

• Coordinate with internal teams on incidents, priorities, and projects

Candidate Requirements

• Background: Around 5 years of experience in IT systems or cloud administration. First experience administering Google Cloud Platform and/or Google Workspace. Personal or professional technical projects, ideally involving open-source technologies. Hands-on experience with end-user support

• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment with a hands-on, solutions-driven approach.
