About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on AI Engineer to help us design, build, and ship AI-powered product features using Large Language Models (LLMs).

This is not a research role. This is a hands-on role.

You will work very closely with our CTO and product team to bring AI features to production, iterate on them using real user feedback, and help define the foundations of our AI platform as we scale.

What will you do

• Build and ship AI-powered product features using Large Language Models (LLMs), end to end.

• Take full ownership of AI features, from problem definition to production and iteration.

• Work very closely with the CTO and product team on day-to-day execution.

• Make technical decisions balancing quality, cost, and latency in production AI systems.

• Operate in a highly hands-on environment where shipping matters more than decks or strategy docs.

What you'll be working on

• Designing and improving summarization, extraction, and automation workflows based on real user needs.

• Structuring and connecting data from multiple sources (calls, CRM, emails, tickets) to give AI systems strong context.

• Context engineering: designing, curating, and maintaining high-quality context pipelines to maximize LLM reliability and minimize hallucinations.

• Implementing feedback and evaluation loops to continuously measure and improve AI output quality.

• Orchestrating AI agents that interact with external APIs, internal systems, and third-party tools

• Contributing to the foundations of a shared AI platform that will power multiple mobile-first products over time.

• Applying AI internally to improve sales, operations, and go-to-market efficiency.

What we're looking for

• Strong hands-on experience building production AI systems.

• Solid experience with TypeScript.

• Practical experience working with LLMs in real products (prompting, evaluation, iteration).

• Experience working with large, multi-source contexts.

• Strong software engineering fundamentals (clean code, testing, observability).

• Ability to work autonomously and solve problems end-to-end.

• Comfort working in fast-moving, ambiguous startup environments.

• Clear communication and collaboration skills.

• 4+ years of experience designing and building high-performance systems used by millions.

• You can communicate in English, since that's our official language. Most of the team also speaks Spanish and French.
