Position overview:
As the Facilities Coordinator, your primary responsibilities will include providing support for all building-related activities for our retail hearing centres nationwide. You will be a part of a fast-paced team working to ensure that all facilities are safe and well functioning. The goal is to ensure our clinic operations are problem-free so that employees can work under the best conditions.

What you'll do:

Duties may include but are not limited to the following:

  • Organize and lead JHSC, ensuring that safety compliance is met at Head Office and retail centres.

  • Support facilities team in various safety and preventative maintenance programs, including program design and execution

  • Support and ensure the business/clinic regulatory requirements.

  • Support and assist with facility central services such as security, cleaning, parking, and maintenance issues.

  • Manage service coordination for facility and audiological equipment support tickets. Respond quickly to facility and equipment emergencies and failures.

  • Coordinate service calls with contractors and clinic team.

  • Work cooperatively with vendors and contractors to get quotes and expedite the completion of repair and maintenance work.

  • Maintain tracking programs for audiological equipment, inspection schedules and repairs.

  • Support the reporting and review of facility-related budgets, finances, contracts, expenditures, and purchases

  • Coordinate and complete purchase orders to assist with supply flow to clinics.

  • Provide prompt and customer-focused response to requests and issues from clinic staff

  • Plan ahead to assess and mitigate risks to clinic operations

  • Support and assist with project management initiatives as needed

  • Contribute to organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job components.

  • Other related duties as assigned

What we're looking for:

  • College diploma or equivalent working experience

  • Experience in Health & Safety committees and regulations (required)

  • 2-4 years of experience in administrative field

  • G license and reliable vehicle

  • Some travel will be required

  • Hybrid role (2-3 days in office/week)
