About this roleWe're seeking a Brand marketing leader to define and contribute to build our brand identity across product, marketing, and design.
This is a hybrid strategy-creative role for someone fluent in brand storytelling, cultural insight, and design thinking, with the ability to operationalize that brand across every surface of the company.
Yubo is coming up on its 10 year anniversary, and over that time this small but mighty team has become a much beloved way for Gen Z to meet new people. The team has delivered a magical user experience, but the brand has really been under the radar until now. Yubo is a blend of what the team makes (the product) and how we make our users feel (the brand). This brand leadership opportunity is about bringing the Yubo community together & growing it.
We are looking for a special brand leader who is open to a Paris move (tough right?), or at least for time zone and team culture perspectives, is based on the US East Coast.
The founder-led executive team are as passionate as ever about their mission, and this role is a critical piece in taking Yubo to the next level.
Your responsibilitiesLead the full execution of Yubo’s 2026 rebrand across internal and external touchpoints
Roll out new visual identity and tone of voice across product, marketing, and communications
Serve as strategic and creative lead for brand campaigns, partnerships, and social content
Collaborate with Product, Growth, and Safety teams to infuse brand into user experience
Manage and coordinate agency partners, creative vendors, and freelancers
Build scalable brand systems that can be adopted across teams and regions
7+ years of experience in brand or creative strategy, ideally in consumer tech or digital media
Proven track record leading brand evolutions or rebrands, particularly in the US market
Strong cross-functional collaborator who knows how to balance vision with execution
Comfortable managing agencies, internal teams, and freelance talent
Based in East Coast US, London, or willing to move to Paris
Fully onboard and immerse yourself in Yubo’s culture, mission, and product
Audit our existing brand presence across channels and touchpoints
Begin developing a rollout plan for the refreshed brand identity
Establish relationships with key internal stakeholders and agency partners
Launch the first phase of Yubo’s new brand identity, internally and externally
Define and document the new brand voice and visual guidelines
Relaunch our core social channels with fresh, on-brand content
Lead the launch of a full-funnel brand campaign in our priority market
Build out a lean, agile brand marketing team with a mix of in-house and freelance talent
Deliver measurable impact on brand awareness and user engagement
